From the first time I saw a wig I was sold on them!  I was in the first grade when I found a wig at my Grandmother's house.  What a great idea!  Hair!  I was amazed!  I asked her if I could wear it to school and she said that I would have to ask the Principal at school.  I did!  Mrs. Mecham said, "If I can...you can!"  YES!  It was so exciting!  I wore it the very next day!

The wig was greyish in color, about to my shoulders, and a bit bushy. It makes me laugh now!  What was also funny was that no one seemed to notice.  Those that did notice said how natural it looked!  I liked it even better!

Hair should be a part of everyone's wardrobe.  It is an accessory just like jewelry, hats, and shoes!  Everyday they come out with a new idea for hairpieces.  I never get tired of my job!  I only get more excited!  I think most hairstylists feel the same...We have the BEST job!  Endless creativity!

Petra Hair Design began in 1994 with 1,000 square feet. The salon has since grown and is 5000 square feet!  The original square footage was turned into the Wig Showroom.  We display wigs in a boutique style atmosphere.  The salon has a full staff, all happy, creative and loving what they do.  They make coming to work so much fun!

The salon is blessed to have the talent of great hair stylists open to new ideas of growth.  It can be uncomfortable to change, and has been for us at times, but the team works on through it. We all want to be on the leading edge of our craft.

I truly believe that a hairstylist cannot be all that they could be without access to the fruits of HAIRUWEAR!
